HERNÁN PITTO BELLOCCHIO
The work of Hernán Pitto Bellocchio recalls natural elements, and in particular the forests of southern Chile with its ancient trees. The installation consists of a multiplication of steel wires that generate a network of infinite communications, with a structure that takes the form of a climbing plant in the air. In this way the work becomes a sort of organism of delicate fibers between the earth and the sky, a radical apparatus that progressively appropriates the external environments of the Merz Foundation.
Immersed in the connections of Pitto Bellocchio’s work, Enrico Bronzi, cellist who has long been present in the most important musical scenes, tries to lead the audience, along with the piano by Francesca Sperandeo, through the musical plots of two fundamental works, such as the Sonatas of Debussy and Prokofev ..
