Hernán Pitto Bellocchio (Santiago de Chile, 1984) lives and works in Milan. Hernán is an architect and artist specialized in exhibit design and museography.
He studied architecture at Finisterrae University in Santiago de Chile and at the studio of the sculptor Javier Stitchkin. He began his professional career in Italy at La Triennale di Milano, while pursuing his Master “Idea in exhibition design. Architecture of exhibiting” at the Politecnico di Milano. He explores multiple areas through different media, such as photography, painting, drawing and site-specific installations accessible to the public. His artistic investigation focuses on socially critical issues and on the interconnections between artificial systems, the human anatomy, and natural elements, with a strong interdisciplinary connotation.
